Grafting Program Questions

What varieties do you graft?

Conifers: Scotch Pine, Spruce (Norway, Blue, White and Serbian), White Pine (Eastern, Swiss, Limber and Japanese), False Cypress, White Fir, and Japanese Red Pine.

For specific inquiries, please contact me by phone or email and I will be happy to explore how we can meet your needs.

If I had plant “XYZ” can you graft it for me?

There are many factors to consider. For example: understock availability, age of mother plant, and scion wood are just a few. Please feel free to give me a call to discuss it further.

What height do you graft?

We graft high and low. If you have a preferred height, we can adjust accordingly, simply let us know your requirements.

When can I have my grafts?

We have two options:

One-year grafts (Quarts) must be collected or delivered by the end of June of the year grafted. After June the grafts are upsized and will no longer be available in quarts. This helps prevent losses caused by the plants becoming pot-bound.

Two-year grafts (One gallons) can be collected or delivered the year after they have been grafted in the early fall or the following spring.

Should you have additional questions, please contact and me I will be happy to assist you.
